CyberTouch at Gallaudet University

Located in Washington, D.C. Gallaudet University is the country’s most prestigious university for the education of the deaf and hard of hearing. In 2014, Gallaudet announced a 10-year, $450 million development to renew infrastructure of the 99-acre campus. One of the newest additions to date is a CyberTouch Moto 3x1 55”-L Touch Table Engine and a 55” Multi-Touch Monitor. This custom Moto Multitouch Engine consists of three 55” diagonal industrial-grade LED backlit LCD monitors in landscape orientation, designed to operate horizontally with internal dynamic cooling system. This table is essentially a touch engine, in which the monitors, touch overlay, and cooling system were provided and the client and their designer provided their own legs and millwork. CyberTouch also provided Gallaudet with a heavy-content computer which allows the custom software to be effortlessly streamed and interacted with. This project also included a Rio 55” Multitouch monitor which utilizes a commercial-grade, 24/7-rated monitor with 40-touch points touch using advanced infrared touch technology and integrated with one monolithic piece of safety glass.
