CineAsia 2013, the only international convention dedicated to the Asian cinema exhibition and distribution community, takes place December 10-12, 2013 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The sister event to ShowEast and CineEurope, CineAsia screens major Asian and Hollywood films and offers educational programs specifically geared toward the needs of the Asian cinema exhibition community.

Christie® Solaria® One+
Also included within the Christie showcase at CineAsia 2013 is the much-heralded Christie Solaria One+. Crafted for use with screens up to 35 feet wide, this digital cinema projection solution comes complete with a motorized lens, custom-designed Xenon lamp, 2D and 3D capability, brightness of 15,000 ANSI lumens, and a Christie Integrated Media Block (IMB) with its own, easy to operate Screen Management Software (SMS).
Christie is also providing projector solutions to CineAsia 2013 exclusively from within its Solaria Series line of products. Visitors to CineAsia 2013 will also be treated to the company’s dual-projection integration kit, Christie® Duo™, which delivers a premium, large-screen movie experience without the high cost or hassle that comes with current industry ‘big screen’ premium solutions. The automation features of the Christie Duo allow for easy calibration, alignment and image optimization.
Making its debut in Shanghai just two years ago, Christie Duo is no stranger to Asia-Pacific markets, and a number of cinemas throughout the larger region are utilizing its capabilities to create their own premium brand experience. Among the locations in Asia and nearby where the superiority of the Christie Duo can be experienced are: Hoyts Blacktown Cinema 5 (Sydney, Australia); Kunshan Shimao Cinema (Kunshan, China); Beijing Shimao Cinema (Beijing, China); Chongqing Science & Technology Museum (Chongqing, China); Gambar Ballroom (Jakarta, Indonesia); Megabox – COEX (Seoul, South Korea); Megabox – Mokdong (Seoul, South Korea); and Megabox – Yeongtong (Seoul, South Korea).
